Acrylic material in textured finish Base C 5 L. A water-based acrylic material intended for creation of a wide range of textured decorative finishes on interior and exterior walls. Can be applied with a brush or a roller in a coat thickness of 1-3 mm. The application method, used tools and the quantity of the material enable obtaining a texture with a finish of “Natural Stone”, Decorative Plaster and various other textured decorative finishes. Plaster Paint dries quickly creating coatings with an excellent mechanical and exterior durability. The material can hide defects and irregularities in the surface. Can be also used in combination with Crystal Brush, Velvet, Unior Metallic and Planeta, where it serves to create a textured underground before application of a metallic topcoat. Designation: Intended for decoration of interior and exterior wall surfaces in private house, offices, restaurants, hotel lobbies etc. The material can be used to obtain easy in application DIY-finishes as well as more complicated effects applied by professional painters. Surface Preparation: Clean the surface well from dirt, dust and other foreign material. Apply a paint such as Nirocryl in a shade similar to the desired colour of Plaster paint. Application: Stir the material well before and during the application. Natural Stone Finish: Apply the material in 1 of 2 coats with a trowel leaving irregular gaps in the surface. When applied in a single coat, the background paint remains visible through the gaps, emphasizing the effect of depth and creating a modern finish. When applied in 2 coats, apply the first coat smoothly and apply the second coat leaving the gaps. Application in 2 coats creates a more ancient effect of stone. Decorative Plaster Finish: Apply the material with a metallic trowel and pass immediately through the surface with a plastic trowel in round movements. Brush application: Spread the material with a brush in straight or in X-shaped crisscross movements. Apply the material either in a thick coat of up to 3 mm covering the background paint or in a thin coat leaving the underground visible. Do not apply when the temperature is below 7⁰ C or when rain is expected. Dilution: The material is ready to use and requires no dilution. Can be diluted depending on a desired finish. Note: Make a test application on a small surface before applying the material on the whole surface. Cleaning: Clean the tools and hands with water and soap immediately after application. Colour: tinting in 1500 shades according to Nirlat colour decks. Gloss level: Matt. Finish: granulated. Coverage: 1-3 м²/L depending on the desired finish. Dry-time: to touch: 1 hour; between coats: 3-6 hours; final drying: up to 48 hours depending on coat thickness.
