Megatek be the first private business that sign a memorandum with the Ministry of Education and Science in support of professional schools

In the first competition of the Professional Skills Olympiad, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Ardian Tana and the President of Megatek, Mr. Dionis Teqja signed a memorandum of cooperation according to which the parties undertake cooperation in other projects. This is the first memorandum of cooperation concluded between the Ministry of Education and Science and a private business.

Megatek, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science, AKAFPK, GIZ and SwissContact organize the professional skills olympiad 2013, an initiative of Megatek, which aims to promote proffesional studies schools. The Olympiad includes all professional schools in Albania in the fields of electrical engineering, construction, thermohydraulics, wood processing and agriculture-horticulture.

The Proffesional Skills Olympiad started on March 27 with theoretical training in all fields.

The trainings were provided by Megatek and its suppliers. More than 15 foreign and Albanian trainers informed the participating students and teachers on the latest technological developments in the world market according to specific fields.

As part of the company's social responsibility, Megatek has chosen to focus on supporting young students who are oriented towards certain professions since high school. It will be these students who tomorrow will offer market expertise with their services.

The professional skills olympiad has put in competition 14 teams from 14 schools in the country in the field of electrical engineering. The winning school of the first place is "Petro Sota" of the city of Fier.

Megatek donated the 3,000-euro budget to the winning school, which will be used to build a project proposed by the winning school itself in its laboratories.

The Professional Skills Olympiad will run until May 14^th 2013. During these days there will be 4 other competitions in the fields: thermohydraulics, construction, wood processing and agriculture-horticulture.
