A very hardy, productive, fruit tree. The fruits are delicious eaten fresh or used for cooking and canning. When planting, keep the base of the trunk exposed. Best in fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly until established. Prune when dormant, in late autumn or late winter. Apply a complete fertilizer formulated for fruit bearing varieties.
